The 14th China Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo Will Open Soon

On the afternoon of May 23, the Beijing Municipal Government Press Office revealed that the 14th China Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (the ICCIE 2019) has been included in China International Fair for Trade in Services and will be held from May 29th to June 1st in Beijing.

The ICCIE 2019 is organized by Ministry of Culture and Tourism, National Radio and Television Administration and Beijing Municipal People's Government, and co-organized by CCPIT Beijing. The main venue is China International Exhibition Center(the old venue), with a total area of ​​35,000 m2, which is divided into 17 themed sections including the National Cultural Center Achievement Exhibition, Beijing Cultural Industry Achievement Exhibition, “Belt and Road” Countries Culture Exhibition, Great Wall Culture Exhibition, Radio and Television & Internet Audio-visual  Exhibition, Taiwan Cultural and Creative Hall, Urban Reading Room Experience Area and Folk Culture Exhibition.

During the fair, there will also be 8 promotion events, 5 special forums and 4 creative activities. Besides, there will be five sub-venues for specific professional fields, including: the 12th Beijing China Art International Fair, the 15th Anniversary of the Chinese School of Realistic Paintings, Guardian Fine Art Asia 2019, China International Enterprise Brand Culture Expo and Beijing International Book Mall Sub-venue.

It is worth mentioning that, in order to promote cultural trade, the ICCIE of this year will further uphold the concept of “a Beijing-based convention serving the whole country and facing the world”, and strive to hold an open and win-win event. The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Cultural and Tourism Exhibition Area will integrate the cultural resources of the three regions, highlight their innovative achievements, promote the brands for them and facilitate interaction. Thousands of cultural products and regional cultural tourism projects will be unveiled at the event. In addition, the Cultural Industry International Development Promotion Convention and Overseas Cultural Trade Policy and Enterprise Promotion Convention will help draw attention to the service industry expansion and opening up pilot in Beijing, demonstrate the optimized business environment integration policies, and create new forms of cultural trade.

According to Lin Bin, Vice Chairwoman of CCPIT Beijing, delegations of over 80 countries and regions, embassies, chambers of commerce and associations  have confirmed their participation in the exhibition. Domestically, 12 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities and more than 700 exhibitors are scheduled to be present at the event.
