The 12th China Beijing International Cultural & Creative Industry Expo (ICCIE 2017 for short) will be held from September 11 to September 13 in Beijing. As an important component of the "six in one" platform of ICCIE 2017, the exhibition and display section, which is mainly located in Beijing International Exhibition Center (old center), is almost ready for the exhibition. More than 1,800 enterprises from 14 provinces, municipalities and cities and 49 countries and regions join the exhibition. Inner Mongolia Exhibition Group, a familiar participant among them, will still be present at ICCIE 2017, exhibiting handicrafts with regional characteristics and creative animation products with distinctive ethnic elements.

Inner Mongolia pavilion is located in the "provincial and municipal cultural and creative industries exhibition" at Hall 8B of Beijing International Exhibition Center (old center), the major exhibition of ICCIE 2017. There will be 15 enterprises involved, with traditional handicraft enterprises still accounting for the major proportion. It is reported that a major highlight and innovation of Inner Mongolia Exhibition Group at ICCIE 2017 lies in its creative animation products with traditional ethnic elements; creative animation images derived from elements of Inner Mongolia will also be presented at Beijing International Exhibition Center (old center). Besides, popular traditional handicrafts, like silver ornaments and stationery with ethnic characteristics, and “leather bag kettle”, a sports kettle made of new materials, will also be shown to the audience.

This year is the 70th anniversary of the establishment of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The key museums, libraries, art galleries, exhibition halls and intangible cultural heritage protection institutions of the autonomous regions and cities will jointly carry out pilot projects to create, design and display, and manage culturally creative products, so as to bring a series of considerably innovative "grassland gifts" to ICCIE 2017. In addition, Inner Mongolia Exhibition Group will deeply explore collection resources of cultural relic units to display a variety of newly developed, distinctive, innovative, and competitive culturally creative product systems.
